Over the next week a few of the posts involve my aunts new apartment.. or there abouts.
Not the largest of places, but certainly larger than the average Parisian abode, G's new place requires some creative interior design. One aspect is ensuring the place can identify different spaces. Not just one oddly shaped room, but one which you can create an area for rest and area for cooking and an area for completing personal administration.
To do this, the average rug is a useful tool. The trick is ensuring you have a rug which is both functional (can cover the right amount of space) and is visually interesting (so your eyes are drawn to the forementioned space).
My favourite out of these photos is not technically a rug, but rather a great use of a stencil and spray paint. How better to turn a boring brinck pathway... into your own Turkish rug haven!
