Well its hung! The upcoming collaboration between Spinifex Hill Artists and Martumili Artists will showcase the extremely talented work from Aborginal artists living in Port Hedland and Newman, and the many communities in between:

"The art centres, both located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, have united to bring the last pujiman (desert born) generation together with their younger artists. Featuring animation, film, and drawing, as well as the painting practice that has been the foundation of both art centres, Pujiman showcases the powerful contemporary Indigenous arts practice of the Pilbara."

One of the exciting parts of this exhibition has been that many of the young artists have assisted in curating and hanging the exhibition. This professional development opportunity was led by FORM's installation manager Sean Byford, a patient and experienced practitioner, who always has a notebook, calculator and tools not far away!

To check out more pics of the installation process, have a look at the @martumiliartists @spinifexhillartists and @courthousegallery Instagram pages.. Superstars!
